Designed by Mark Grehan, an award-winning, freelance landscape designer, the garden promotes health and wellbeing for all ages and is aligned with the United Nations Principles for Older Persons.

The garden is very much a sensory garden with a wonderful meandering pathway through the woodland area that leads to an open area at the end of the garden which consists of the original Nuns Gazebo room that was used for  reflection in the nuns former garden space and a staging area. The Luisne Garden is also available for private bookings/concerts. The garden was officially opened by the Minister of State for Mental Health and Older People on November 8th 2016. It is a wonderful environment to stroll through and relax.
